1st Gen R53 Cooper S Wheel Hub replacement!

    Hey guys so today I tackled doing the wheel hubs on the car and it went pretty smoothly just had to get a 32mm socket for the axle nut but no more noises going around corners now and I couldn't be happier know how to do that and not have to spend money having someone else do it! So if anyone has this issue it can be done in under 3 hours and that was my first time trying wheel hubs!!!

    Side note did anyone else get a recall notice from Mini for the power steering?

    No. What year models does the recall cover?

    I got a "heads up" notice that there is a recall coming. No actual recall yet. I think they need to get some power steering pumps sourced before they can begin swapping them.

    2005 is affected

    Recall campaign 15V-660 2002-2005 MC and MCS

    Mine actually says take my car to the nearest dealer for possible parts inspection and or replacement of power steering elements so I was just curious what was going on, mine is an 2002 but I don't know if it said what years it covers
