Looking for the magnetic stone guards that protect the side paint at the forward side of the rear wheel arch. I see them available for models through 2013, but none for '14 and '15 ( 3rd gen.). Anyone know where or if they can be found?

I'd hazard to guess MINI has yet to put them in the catalogue. Might want to contact the folks at eMINIparts and ask them.

You could also just make your own. They are just basic magnets covered in basic black vinyl.

Any sign shop will have the magnets and you can buy a sheet and make your own design on paper and trace it on the mat. Flip it over and make the other side.

    Or

Just wait 3 months and pay BMWs high price for something that coast $10.00.

Or don't bother as they really don't protect an area that gets any rock chips AND they can glue themselves to the paint if you are not careful with the maintenance.

Clear or colored vinyl would be a better option.

Get a clear bra on the front and have the same people put clear bra on the rear quarters in front of the arches all the way to the door jamb. Don't forget to have them clear bra the side skirts as well.

Clear bra is the way to go. I had clear bra versions of the stone guards installed when the car was new. Never a chip in that area, and you can't even see them unless you're looking for them.

Yup I will be adding a clear bra to my front bumper after it repainted since I drafted behind Blake on the foothills parkway portion of the Donut run this year.

Once I heard the damage in the first 1/4 mile I knew if I did not stay on his bumper the rocks would have also destroyed my hood and headlights.

Rocks at 80+ mph are great at stripping paint from a bumper and has cut my paint prep time in half.

It's amazing how you can go just as fast with a 200yd gap as you can with a 2yd gap. And, fewer chips.

Thanks again for the advice. Would also be interested in advice on where to go for clear bra application. Do most body shops do this, dealer install or graphics applicator?

Ask your dealer who they use. Typically a shop that does vinyl graphics installation.

Yep - whoever the dealers use are usually very good. Stay away from tint shops who say they do it... unless they have great references or unless they do dealer work.
