This international poll might be of interest and doesn't seem to have been reported in US media. It asked whether people thought particular countries' influence was 'mostly positive' or 'mostly negative'. http://www.globescan.com/images/images/pressreleases/bbc2012_country_ratings/2012_bbc_country%20rating%20final%20080512.pdf It may surprise to see USA rated below China, but the shocker is to find Israel rated only marginally higher than North Korea.
I'm surprised the US ranked as high as it did..... Not surprised about Israel..... everyone love to hate the Jews.
24,000 respones, out of what, 5 billion people in the world, oh yea thats a true reflection....Still find it interesting that it shows the USA lower since Obama has been in,
You know what is funny? The world liked us better when we did our own thing and didn't ask for permission to be US.
Bingo. How can you be the best you can be when your running around trying to be the best that everyone else thinks you should be? It doesn't work for and individual and surely not for a Country. Proud to be an American, no apologies.
