I some what agree but!! it depends on what your plans are for the club.. How active is it going to be. Do you have your own stand alone club website, ( not many MINI clubs do. Most are attached to a car forum. ) Do you plan to have sponsors and or vendors on your stand alone site or of the club.. How are the members going to hear about club functions, what are the rules/bylaws etc, that most every forum and or club has listed somewhere. Might as well have it listed, posted, or printed just to get all that out in the open.
Our club does have a hand book. When ever we meet new people we shake their hand and tell them to go to MA.
We just give them a beer and say on the next try and keep up. Top Gear rules apply. "So you broke down, got pulled over..... sorry buddy see you later" . Exception: If you are in an accident we will help you, then laugh at you later while we give you a cold beer. (Happens at the Dragon)
