Wide Band Air/Fuel Meter or Gauge

    I was told I should get the above to make sure the Air/fuel is correct. Anyone used one? what is the idea air/fuel ratio for a MC?

    A perfect Air/Fuel ratio will be 14.6:1, or 14.6 parts air for 1 part fuel on a gasoline engine

    That is way lean. I think that is the idle target A/F.

    More like 11.5 - 11.0 at WOT under load.

    There may be other reasons for running rich at various RPM's or engine designs requirements...

    The car will hunt to get as close to 14.1 as possible when cruising at a fairly steady state. That is optimum for efficiency.

    interesting as GTT told me around the 12's
