    Hey gang,

    Greetings from a lurker:ihih:

I'm hoping someone out there has ventured into wideband O2 territory with the R56 MCS. I'm looking at a gauge project in the off-season and this one is at the top of my list. Autometer has recommended the O2 sensor be placed 4-5 inches from the output of the turbo on the exhaust downpipe. I've opted to keep my heatshield in place so now there is an interference problem.

Has anyone set up the additional O2 sensor just below the edge of the heatshield and gotten consistent AFR readings when testing their car on the dyno? Intuitively, I don't think this will be that big of deal placing the sensor a little further downstream, but I'm curious what others have found.

    Salute!
