Ordered some parts for the Mini today, want to send out a big, Thank You to Eric@Helix for his help with the clutch questions I had, and all the other things we talked about as well. Thanks again Eric. Wait till your reduced to acting like some junkie racing home to beat your wife and hide the box sitting on the front porch before she sees it....it at least puts off the reality until the credit card bill comes in....oh the shame of it all...lol

Have you reduced yourself to drive the opened boxes to the recycling bin or burn them yet?
I still have boxes in my closet

I've even contemplated having them sent to a different address :ihih:. However, I'm not married so... I don't have the issue of losing certain privileges

Yeah my wife does not care about car parts. It's my hobbie.

At least I am not one of those cats that buys good car parts, has them installed, get tuned, and them take out and sell them a few weeks later.

That's nothing to be proud of Russ.

Back to Frilly Mini 2 face.....your a fake person.

Update she has this thing on her phone that chimes when our credit card gets used so guess who got busted.... Atleast she gave me a good expense limit which I haven't reached yet, :D Oh I'm with you DaveO it goes on it's not coming off until it is wore out, or broke. The only thing i'm not going to put on myself is the clutch.

this is so funny to read because I do this all the time (buy stuff for the mini) and my husband is the one who says "whats in the box?" so I changed my work hours so I get home before him and therefore can get rid of...um...recycle anything...

I have my vices (MINI) and she has hers, the two never cross.
Maybe because I do all the maintenance on her car and tell her how much we saved by doing it. She never gives me a hard time buying parts.

My wife likes shoes. And jewelry.

I'm old enough I really don't need/want anything expensive for Christmas.

Makes buying stuff for the MINI a piece of cake.

Now, telling her I'm going to the track on such and such weekend, that's a different story. She needs to get a boyfriend or something.
