Anyone have any luck swapping out these lousy BMW sprayers with something that has a better spray pattern?

I re-aimed mine with a small hook tool as both sprayers have two jets which you can aim for complete coverage.

Yeah, but I am tired of the car simply pissing on the windshield, I want a decent spray pattern dammit!

I have a set of aftermarket ones coming from Amazon....well see.

I like what GM did, mounting the spryer on he arm so it sprays right ahead of the blade. Works a treat, doesn't look particularly cool but it sure works,

Finally got around to installing the new sprayers............nuts!
Came from China (via Amazon). Very close copy of the original design, but the spray pattern was not adjustable. Nice fan pattern, but it was way to low. Didn't even get above the wipers.

Well, the Chinese ARE shorter than we are, ya know, so you can remedy that by super-lowering your front seats. :Devilish::Cigar:

Have you checked for grunge in the
    bottom of the reservoir?
I had some decaying leaves in mine
when I bought my current MINI and
clearing themout and cleaning off the
filter over the pump inlet did wonders
for the force of the stream.

Not an issue of debris, just have never liked the BMW idea of a stream vs a spray. Seems like a waste of product.

Interesting - I never noticed. I thought they sprayed.. have to check. I would think they are all about the standard size.. if so wouldn’t anyone work?

It’s all about aiming them correctly. I like the stream, my wife’s Lexus has the spray, she and I both don’t like the spray.

It all comes down what each person prefers.

I think the problem is more related to location and windshield.......closer and more vertical windshield
