I thought I'd seen those a few years ago as a promo thing for an airline. Seems like back then they mentioned what would be under all that once taken off. Holes in the doors of course but seems like there was more to it on the back... Doubt anyone is going to pay that price for a car that's only worth maybe $6000 at best ( KBB ) only be worth it to another business to use for promo's...
My son in law is in the Air Force so I sent him the link. To bad too, he just picked up a R53 last week.
At no point in the concept-to-execution phase did somebody go 'hey wait a minute, this is a stupid idea'.
Maybe I should bid $1. Guess too low.... While I like flying memorabilia.... I think unless it is restored to the delta look, and kept as a memento, maybe at a museum, trying to sell it with wings is kinda funny!!
Actually, the Delta MINIs were a very successful promotion for international travel from major cities around the U.S. They even gave away promotional keychains that supposedly are highly collectible now. Later, Austrian Airlines ripped off the idea, using a Smart Car. :frown2:
