I am looking for a set of winter wheels and tires for my son's 2005 MCS. Preferred on black hollies. Anyone?

yep...holies are 15s. if you want a 16, try the v-spokes as they are the lightest of the oem 16s [at least they used to be...dunno about later wheels]

15' work on s gen1 s with stock brakes....I run 15's for winter...( I bought used set off a 2013, sold the tpms, the tires...ended up with almost free rims..then added tires)....Go with a 195 or may (in a pinch 185) width on 15's for snow...205 on narrow OEM rims may/may not work deprndingbon the tires...check the specs for the max/min rim width for each tire....
R84 rims (x-lites) are the lightest of the gen1 16's...light and strong.....

I know Detroit Tuned has used rims for sale for a good price. Give them a call.
