Since the Dragon registration is opening, I thought I'd open up sign ups for mods or parts at MOTD. WMW will again have our full crew there to mod or service your MINI during MOTD. If you want something PLEASE SIGN UP, this will make scheduling to get everyone in much easier, and ensure I have the right parts for you. Here are some of the things we've done in the past and will be doing again: Pullies, Intakes, Exhausts, Sway Bars, Brakes, Cylinder heads, Superchargers, ECU quicktunes, Blow off valves, Shocks, Springs. Hope to see you there.
Where do we sign up? I would like a Thursday AM appt for the intake, sway bar, and torque bushing that we talked about a few months ago (which I will ordering in the beginning of February). I'm on for a 2:00 drive so I'll need her ready to roll by at least 1:00.
No problem, send me a direct email, and I'll put you down for 9am on Thurs, that way you'll be done by 11 at the absolute latest. [email protected]
I just sent an email for mods to two MINIs any time after noon on Thursday since we'll be working the Registration with you.
I gotta decide what mods I need to do next? I will be installing TSW springs, WMW endlinks, brakes, rotors and lines in the next fews weeks. Hey Way any advice what I should do next? Besides the above I am installing before the Dragon, I have already done a swaybar, CAI and the "super quick" pulley install you did last year . See ya at MOTD, Brian
More that we have to offer this year WMW will also be doing everything for your MINI's computer. We will be doing such things as: Deactivate seat belt gongs for R55,56,57 MINIs Deactivate Tire pressure monitoring on R50,R52,R53 Program NEW keys to your MINI Activate Rear Fog lights, Alarms, Daytime running lights, reprogram lock features. Airbag light diag, and resets Clear CELs including 2096 faults Update software in MINI control units 6spd conversion software update And any other programming you can think of, just let me know and we'll see if we can do it.
I have tried to get the dealer to activate my rear fog twice. The car knows the light it there, but will not turn it on. Can you actually get this to work on a 2009 MC? I would like it to work. Jim
Jim, do the rear fog lights have their own fuse? It wouldn't be as simple as them reprogramming the ecu but forgetting to add the fuse to the circuit?
Beats me MM. I have heard all kinds of stories about the 2009 rear fog activation, but I do know it can be done. The computer knows the light it there, because if I take the bulb out it tells me it is missing, but will not turn it on. I don't think the gang at the dealership are all that knowledgeable, but I feel certain that Way and crew can figure it out. Jim
I can also reprogram the Service indicator to be 7500 miles rather than 15k miles. Great feature to help keep up on oil changes.
Way, can you do things in the CAS like one touch open/close sunroof; close sunroof from FOB, auto door unlock with key out, turn off speedometer "correction" etc?
I can change some of the sunroof features, but not from the FOB, that will not do that for safety reasons. Auto unlock is avail, and for the speedo I've not tried to recalibrate it, That we may have to send out the speedo to MINI, cause it's not always the same to correct it, it varies depending on car.
