Gee, a lot geologic words coming up! (aeolian, pluvial). I have some more: alluvial and colluvial! :arf:

An extended pluvial of rain keeps garage queens off the roads.

Even my MS in Meteorology didn't offer up this adjective. Thanks for expanding my literary horizon.

Man, we had us some pluvial yesterday at the track! The minute the driver's meeting started it hit, an hour and a half later it was still coming down in Biblical amounts and they called the event!

Weather guesser's had us at 30% chance of rain for the day - HA!
