    My favorite type of word!

    Sanction - endorse; penalize
    Circumscribe - enclose; to get around something
    Tabled - brought into discussion; eliminated from discussion
    Terse - smoothly elegant; blunt

    and so on... Makes for great conversations when somebody uses one of these words without sufficient supporting context...
