The 2011 MINI is here and it’s refreshed and completely both inside and out. All existing MINI models – Hatch, Clubman and Convertible – benefit from design refresh to both exterior and interior. At the front, a new bumper with a lower air intake serves not only to update MINI’s face but also to [...][IMG]

Haha now decisions, decisions. If I hold off on the Clubman S, I'll have more time to sell my MINI, lol. Hmmm. I'll have to wait until probably November and won't have the new MINI for MTTS or MITM this year....hmmm..might have to get new rotors and pads since I'm back on stock brakes, lol.

Dang. The programming for stop and go traffic sounds nice on the auto, as well as the interior color changes on the center stack which I've always hated..I love the JCW interior..gauge faces are hawt...actually the interior shots remind me of my own R53, lol.

Richard do you have any concerns at all about going with version 1.0 of a new engine? After all the Cold-start problems maybe you'd be better off waiting a whole year or sticking with your original plans

Haha, I know!!! I've considered that too. I haven't decided which way to go yet. Thanks for pointing that out though. I'm not sure I really want to be MINIless for the next 4 months, lol.

    What new engine?

Far as I can tell, it's a tweaking of an existing power plant...

But I gotta say I laughed when I read the part about cold start issue being a problem with a supplier... And now, the fix is really a fix. We've heard that before....

The 'fix' that wasn't the fix, is now fixed, until the next fix

Funny, but it is always about the "S". Just the "S" and nothing but the "S". :eek:ut:

    Hey Mark,

Is your Clubbie an auto?? I'm wondering about the new programming that says the auto can sense if you're in stop and go traffic and will stay in second gear..can't you just shift it into second and leave it there?

Can anyone clarify as to the "inverse" option on the JCW and how that'll work?

Lol, Jim, you got me. I asked for that one:Thumbsup:. I guess I'm just trying to see if it's something worth entertaining in the future. The body color becomes the roof color and the roof color becomes the body, which would be red b/c it's a JCW. Interesting...
