    Have you heard about this yet? World Mini Raids - Classic Minis from France are touring the US along Route 66.

    This trip is planned for 3 weeks. Thursday, April 21 to Sunday, May 15, 2011.
    Their group will include 9 crew of 2 persons and travel more than 6000km.

    You need to check them out - see if you can ride along with them if they reach your neck of the woods! Their website is in French, but most web browsers will translate Get Your Mini On Route 66

    one of the roads i wanted to drive the whole way....and im not in the country to do it lol

    :cornut:Well we could trade dreams. My Grandfather(Marcus Gunn Sutherland)was born near Wick,Scotland in 1874 and died in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1926 after 25yrs in the 'Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders'. I'd really like to drive a Mini from Edinburgh to Wick. Oh well, one of these days.:Thumbsup:

    I did hear of this, they wrote to me months ago about it and I invited them to join the site and share their journey.

    Hope they don't run into any Dutch Hell's Angels on their choppers....

    Might be tulips and baguettes strewn all over the place..... Oh the horror of it all...:D
