As long as you don't have to offer him any stock. I don't want to dilute my equity stake in the site just to get him over here.
Ah.....that was easy. Seems he's been laid up for quite a spell and is just now getting back into circulation. What a wealth of knowledge he has about the Gen 1s.
There is more consolidated knowledge on this site with regards to Gen 1 MINIs than compared to nam. If you look towards the vendors area you can see that some individuals have been around wrenching on MCS since day one.And some have automotive trained backgrounds and credentials. As an observation not to discredit any person(s) I did a reading sampling of several posting responses from GB. I would say the knowledge although interesting is pre ECU controlled vehicles? With so many technically automotive and MINI specific all but gone from nam it is easy for "shadetree" style mechanics to excel in that environment. And there is nothing fundamentally wrong with that?
Like the one that told me the tire pressure on the inside of the door jam was universal to my car no matter what size tires I put on it? Jim
Learn something new everyday. Never checked my door jam pressure. Will my doors sag with low pressure?
Ok, let me rephrase that. The tire pressure as listed on the sticker on the inside of the drivers door jam. Having looked in the owners manual, for something else, I noticed it does in fact list the same pressure, of 33 psi, for all tires ranging from 15, 16 & 17, from 175 to 205. For some reason this does not seem correct to me, but I could be wrong. Jim
On my 03 Justa it lists PSI from 33-35 depending on wheel and tire size. I run my 205/50R15's at 34 in the front, and 36 in the rears. Mark
