In addition to the greater numbers of manufacturers set to participate in the WRC starting 2013/14, here's another good reason to expect more and better competition. Loeb set for partial WRC campaign in 2013 (WRC.com)
I'd have to say Seb is probably getting bored. You know winning all the time while the rally is really to see who is runner up. Seb has super car control & should do well at circuit racing if he can learn how to race door handle to door handle. My prediction is he will do well. :yesnod:
What this doesn't say... ...is that this may actually mean Citroen leaving WRC along with Loeb. I'm trying to figure out how they might have Loeb running WTCC though when he's already started his own endurance series team and plans to be one of the regular drivers. :skep:
I read that as Hirvonen running in what might be a similar to what MINI is doing. Letting a privateer team run cars the factory has no interest in supporting. Even if Citroen runs the team I do not see a lot of success without Loeb at the helm. Looking good for the other teams me thinks.
