Really ? Why ? They leak unless you are making a modern art collage of silicone crap that parts that don't work or fit.

Normally I do not jump in to these threads but I just have too.

Having used these silicone boots in the past I have to recommend against them. They are hard to install and often leak.

In this case OEM is best.

I have a set that you can have for free if you want to drive up to Ft. Lauderdale. I got them to seal, but removed them for OEM. I actually think that I have two sets.

Have been using M7 boots for years now, same set, no leaks at all. Have never heard of a leak problem with them? And before I get flamed, no I do not work for the new M7, just stating facts as I see them, and as we have seen at the shop that as installed many sets of them, carry on.

I used them originally with my forge intercooler, never had leaks but it was a pain in the butt every time I removed them to put them back. So I went to OEM boots, which worked for a bit but now they do not, so I am going to the silicone again. I don't see how you guys could develop leaks with the silicone boots they fit so darn tight and then you put the brackets on them also, mine never leaked.

Offer appreciated but I would probably spend the cost of buying a new set in gas driving across the state. :(
