I am looking for 1 or 2 SSR Comp Type C 16x7.5 42 off 4x100. This is the old style with the polished lip. Silver would be my first choice but would accept any color. Must be in good condition. If someone knows of one and could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Steve
Maybe this will help. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/marketplace/showproduct.php/product/16899/cat/46
If you look at the NAM link and the responses, you will see that THE ITCH probably bought those and is now looking to complete the set.
I sold a set in anthracite with Yoko rcomps to "MINI7"/José - he's in Charlotte, NC. I know you're not looking for a complete set and not in that color, but, perhaps it might help.
Pgt Thanks alot for the information, I will try to check it out. I am curious if the ones you sold were the same width and offset that these are. In all the searching that I have done it seems to be that these wheels may have been a special order with these specs. Thanks, Steve
I'm not an authority but I don't think those were special order specs. Mine (in anthracite) match those specs exactly.
Steve I appreciate the information. You are the first one that I know of that has that spec. Now I just need to find some for sale. Thanks, Steve
Ill accept "thank-yous" in the form of payment, gift cards, and/or gift baskets: FS:Rare SSR Type C 16x7.5 wheels for sale
damn! score. and yes, mine were the same. I got them from an SCCA guy and we talked about how rare the 7.5ET42 was (and he was local and I emailed him an hour after he posted them for sale, the ones I had I mean, not the silver ones above)
KC Jr 54 Thank you! All of the below are in the mail! When I go to the website there is no Email address to contact him. Would you be able to supply that? Thanks, Steve
Steve Thanks, it must be the old age. The line stopped at the top and then wraped around the bottom and then gave the email. At first I thought it was part of the page design. These are the same width and offset and look to be in great condition. A little pricey thou from what I have been seeing SSR selling for. Still looking for 1 or 2 pieces. Thanks again for your help, Steve
True, his asking price is pretty close to what you would have paid for them brand new. I suppose he's banking on the "rare" bit to make the sale.
