Check out the ornaments on the White House Christmas Tree :nonod: FOXNews.com - White House Christmas Tree Ornaments
you assume I'd a) click on a foxnews.com link and b) would trust their content as valid that said, would it be better if Obama had no tree and instead observed Ramadan? The right would ***** about that too. Only WASP's need apply, right?
It looks like those ornaments were made for the tree, perhaps by American children. They might not have even realized what they put on them. The photo of Mao was rather stylized. If it were to have any meaning as his image, it must not be altered. The Chinese still revere Chairman Mao. Nothing wrong with the Gay pride one. The image of Obama "on Mount Rushmore" is nothing more than how the images ended up on the collage.
People actually take fox news seriously? I thought it was just a joke. I take it they're not familiar with Andy Warhol and his satirical artwork of Mao? Maybe expecting Fox news to be read up on their cultural subjects is asking too much... Seems like a good thing to have on display in the white house if you consider this:
Is a bit of a oxymoron to have a picture of someone who did not believe in Christ on a CHRISTmas tree.....ut: Obamanation...
Oxymoron? no. Ironic? maybe... Seeing as how the tree portion of the holiday has it's roots in pagan tradition, the irony is weak at best.
Why then doesnt he have Hitler on his tree as well, I mean if he wants to display images of a preson who is responsible for the deaths of millions, it has no place in The White House, and yes I do watch FOX news and would trust their reporting way before NBC, ABC, and CBS. they are no longer news worthy outlets in my opinion.

Call me old fashioned... I believe in Mom, Dad and apple pie.. I believe in the Constitution for which it stands.. I believe in Freedom, Justice, Liberty and the American way of life.. I believe in honoring the honorable and punishing the punishable.. I believe in hard work and earning a better way of life and helping those that can't to help themselves.. I believe that lying, stealing and cheating is dishonorable.. I believe that telling the truth, standing up for your family, friends and what is right is honorable... I believe we are intitled to clean air and water and the opportunity to succeed at what we are willing to put our backs and minds too, nothing more, nothing less.. I believe an individual has the right to believe what he wants as long as those beliefs don't hurt or damage another... And most of all, I believe in GOD! Merry Christmas and good night.
Cherrypicking is fun, isn't it? CBS had Dan Rather ("fake, but accurate") I'm sure we can find examples of issues with just about any other "news" source. This morning on NBC, I watched the Tom Brokaw "American Character" segment on Kevin Johnson, where he paints Johnson as a great American Hero and alludes to how Mayor of Sacramento may just be a stepping stone to something greater (showing photo of Johnson at the White House with Clinton). Absolutely no mention of Gerald Walpin. Like that story didn't even exist. Of course, it doesn't exist. It ceased to exist when FoxNews covered it.
Most definitely. Fox news just seems to be taking "silly" to a whole new level. I was just surprised that people would take fox news seriously. I mean...they can't even add. I must admit, the irony of falsifying numbers in a poll about falsifying research was priceless, though.
There are some stupid people doing (and editing) graphics and chyrons on EVERY network - no exceptions. No question that Fox has their fair share in that department. But I'm not sure I believe sloppy work and poor editing = "falsifying" If so, practically everything I've ever written has been "falsified".
