I've done a terrible job of explaining all this... The overall run-out is 30 over. Assuming that it is equal around the entire circumference that would make make it 15 to big on a radius...At least that's the way I think this works. Anyway, going 20 over takes 5 off all the way around... Does that make sense? Where is James May when you need him for the Maths...
Don't paint it "camouflage", It'll make it difficult to find the engine to perform needed services! Dave
again, this is why I put up the chart.........the measurements were off........the .020 overbore will have round cylinders
Not much to update as a scheduled vacation by Chad is underway. So exciting that this all is right now that all I have to report is the Crank Core was delivered back to the dealer from whence the rebuild crank came from.. Stay tuned for more later...much later.
I leave for MOTD on April 28. Chad knows this and we spoke the other day of the timing. It will be complete in time. Much later means next week before there are any real updates. An eon in internet time.
Hahaha do you miss him? We don't, much less drama and less old school hot rod BS. Would you like me to send you a Hallmark card and some flowers?:cryin:
You two guys need to chill out.... You are starting to "muck up" Nathan's engine thread with stuff that doesn't belong here....
I could not of said it better myself. Like a pair of 6 year olds in the back seat... He's on my side..waaa waaa waaa It's time to bring this crap between you two to an end. "Sorry Nate" at the end of a post ain't gonna cut it. In other news... Nothing new on my car since my last report.
This just in! Machine Shop has completed their portion of the work. Block is all straight, bores are now round, crank and pistons installed. Head work is complete as well. We are on track for me to have the MINI back in time for MOTD!
