Just returned from a couple days at the Detroit auto show, was so great to see so much in one place. The MINI display was curious to me. They chose to have a PW Justa, a nice Highgate, a new GP, the JCW Paceman and Countryman, and a (locked) Paceman S. They had the Clubvan in its own little room, and was mostly ignored every time I stopped by (5-6 times). They had it locked also? Seems like if anyone actually was thinking about one, the first question might be, "What can fit in it?". With it locked and with those look-solid perforated graphics on the back windows, no one could see what or how it might hold stuff. Seemed like a lost opportunity. Also: no Coupe or Roadster? Given the constant picture taking of visitor family members sitting in the Highgate, I'd have expected the Roadster to also be a big hit. Also seemed like another lost opportunity, there's likely much of the public at large that doesn't know MINI makes that class of car.
