1st time Mini owner since I picked up a 2012 r55 7 days ago. Got it from a guy i work with and it has 160k miles on the clock with an impeccable service history. Everything you would look at in a high mileage mini checks out. Just a few things so far that have impressed me. How much interior room there is being such a small car, gas mileage is currently just under 41mpg and it is fun to drive. Of course being a manual sure helps with the fun factor. Lol Interior condition is excellent with just a few signs of wear, no big deal as those few items can be changed out. Exterior does have some chips and scratches here and there but that is to be expected due to mileage. But mechanically speaking everything is sound and has been well maintained. Plan moving forward is just to start to detail it little by little inside and out. No plans for any crazy mods like some people have. This is a daily driver. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
