I used this to get details of when my car was made, equipment, etc., and printed out the results. Very interesting.
I had my local parts guy at the dealership look up my car. Funny thing was it was ordered though the same dealership and he even had all the original paperwork. (electronically) He also had all the service records as it was always serviced by the same dealer. The only thing I do not know is the original owners name and address for security and privacy reason which I completely understand.
I bought mine from a Subaru dealer. Emailed MINI and got all of the details. It was sold from the only dealer within 200 miles and the previous owner had all services done at the dealer, so I got a copy of all of the records. Also, in MO, you take the previous title (signed over to the dealer who did not title it) to the DMV. Since it was the original, it also had the original owners name and address. They live (or did when they titled it) in the neighborhood next to mine! Makes since as the Subaru dealership is down the street.
Thanks for the link! If your car had a factory LSD installed, would that show up in the details section?
