R56 Nylon Stud Removal

The R56 has a nylon stud on the strut tower that indexes stock camber setting. To remove the stud and gain additional negative camber: place the front of the vehicle on stands and put a jack under the front wheel, place tape around the base of the stud to protect the paint surface, clean the area around each guide support nut, screw a small short screw into the hole in the middle of the stud, grasp the stud with pliers and remove, loosen each nut a few turns, lift from under the wheel enough to relieve weight from the nuts and push the strut inboard as far as it will go, tighten the nuts to 25 ft-lb, lower the wheel.
