We've had generally good luck on our drive so far, Don managed to get us timed right between the heavy rainstorms that were moving thru the areas...
Today was a good driving day for me and Don in his Pup. The Pup ran flawlessly, no overheating, no drinking water, just cruised..... We timed it...

Porsche 911's back in the early days had a similar problem with those oil tubes, the end would clog up and stop oiling the cam lobes and rockers...
The car drove really well on today's test run after the alignment....still some minor things to do, rattles and buzzes to try and see if I can...
The alignment shop did a great job, and got it set perfectly.....it drives much better now. I had never seen one done quite like this - this shop...
So far no leaks! :cool:
OK, so I'm back on the road again..... Turns out these late model cars have a starter relay hidden up on the firewall, just your basic 4 pin...
OK, found the issue - apparently dirty contacts where the starter relay plugs into the receptacle. contact cleaner and she works fine now

Don't the oil coolers have thermostats? maybe some zinc additive to the oil would help since you're not running a cat?

Today I went to my usual shop to have the alignment checked, only to find that their Hunter machine was down for the count, and the other machine...
Everything's buttoned up and ready to go.....I re-torqued the head and reset the valve clearances, now all I need to do is have the alignment...
I think you can buy it in squeeze tubes or short caulk gun type tubes too, and it's way less expensive......
