I had that kind of problem with some reloads in the past. But it wasn't all of them. Probably comes down to how many times they were shot....

If your considering an R53 stay with 05-06. You can find them with low miles and don't be afraid to get one from farther away. I got my 05 2 years...
I had the Stop Tech pads I did get a little fade but my complaint was the lack of initial bit. I changed to Akebono pads and they are great. Now...
