Yes, you have to jack it up in very high is the middle with the 2x4 and then slide the jackstands in under the OEM jack points amd then lower...
It rained here today so I did nothing with my MINI today.

Yeah, I get it but most problems are because the person not the wood and the jack. Operator error.

The 2x4 method works fine, if you have an issue it’s a user issue not the 2x4 and your jack.
