Sounds like your brake fluid and brake pads may need to be replaced.... Unrelated to your stalling issues...
The MINI's have a wear sensor on the brake pads that when they wear down to the point just before they need to be replaced the sensor triggers the...
I can't remember seeing any MINI ads in quite a while that gave me a good chuckle..... I do remember some of the creative ad's around the time...
