R53 Cooper S Bugs

History:

After totalling my old '02 MCS in November 2009, I started hunting far and wide for another MINI. I'm partial to the R53 platform, so that's what I focused on. My preferred colors are PS, DS, and AB. I found possibles in surrounding states (MD, NC), even one as far as North Dakota. I'm not a fan of Craig's List, but I decided to give it a whirl. Well, I found an AB MINI at Green Gifford just across the water in Norfolk, VA. The rest is history.

M7 front strut brace. Cobalt rear strut brace. H&R 25mm competition rear swaybar. Hotchkis lower rear control arms. WMW underbody X-Brace. PowerFlex front lower control arm bushings. Goodridge stainless steel brake lines. R56 294mm front caliper/rotor conversion. Ferodo DS2500 front and rear brake pads. Turner Motorsport cross-drilled front and rear brake rotors.

Wheels and Tires:

Summer tire setup: BBS RK Rims (17x7, 4x100, ET42), Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120 205/45/ZR17 (88W) tires. Winter tire setup: factory R98 Webspokes (17x7, 4x100, ET48), Pirelli Sottozero Serie II 205/45/ZR17 (88H) tires.
