History:

Bought in Nov. 2005 (desired one since 2002) as a loaded stock MCS. Then I made the mistake of joining BMWCCA and going to the track, thanks to Vince, the old writer of the MINI column on Roundel. The following year the car got the full JCW treatment, a mistake in retrospect, but at the time I wanted to keep everything under warranty. The modding bug had now had it's first meal. From there on out it only got worse, read below if you don't believe me...
