History:

Decided I needed a new car to replace my 25 yr old VW Scirocco. Started looking around at Miata's, Golf's, Beetle's (yuck! lol), and other sport type cars. Didn't like the Miata, way to small. Didn't like looking at only bumpers and doors while on the test drive. Wasn't sure I wanted another VW, so I kept looking. As most did, I saw the Italian Job remake and loved the cars. But I thought that the MINI was going to be way out of my price range as it was a BMW car built in England. But on a whim I went to MINIUSA.com and built a car. Much to my surprise, when I looked at the cost of the car it was in my price range. I called my dealer the next day and made arrangements to send in my deposit. I made my final car decision online and sent the spec's to the dealer and promptly waited 6 months to take delivery.
