I tried using ECS once. It was the poorest excuse for service I have ever had. I would rather pay a little more & get good service.

Look up the group on FB called “Why I hate ECS Tuning”
ECS is not a good place to buy parts, they are always late and charge a fortune to ship.
FYI ~ ECS also owns Turner Motorsports and Pelican Parts now. So you have been warned.
Buy from our M\A sponsers like Detroit Tuned, Helix and many others.
* note * WMW is not a sponsor here just like ECS.-

You may not need a motor. When my 02 did this I replaced the regulator. Just don't use a cheep part. I did and had to do it agin. the second time I used an OEM part and it has lasted a long time.
On ECS. I know you didn't ask but for what it is worth I don't use them any more. They are hell bent on dominating the market. I wont go into it but they are trying to undercut the little guys, and have even said so.
If you don't have Bentley manual let me know I can send the instructions on how to adjust the window. That part was fun.-

Interesting, I didn't know ECS was gobbling up their competition. Once there is no competition watch the prices rise. Thanks for the heads up Dave.
I've had great luck & service from the sponsors here. Good folks one & all. -
It's good to know, Dave.
Anyway, can anyone recommend a worthy window regulator that's not as pricey as genuine MINI?
Thanks!

Yes what you guys said. They have cornered the BMW market now they are going after Mini.
@minsanity I wish you could skip the fun part of adjusting it but I tried and had a bad whistle when I went down the road. It wisest too bad adjusting it though. -

Try using the OEM part number and look it up on Rockauto or Amazon. -
Yea there is a special tool to loosen and tighten them. I put the window up a little so I could reach in with my hand and start them. I used Chanel locks to get them lose and tighten them.
