The thermostat on the left. Simple, conventional easy to check for operation function and in most applications can be changed in about 30 minutes.They run about 3-20 bucks. When it goes bad the engine may over heat?
On the LEFT we have the fully ECM controlled and self contain thermostat. When it goes bad your engine will idle poorly ,the coolant temperatures fluctuate all over which causes timing and fueling changes lowering fuel economy and you can't WOT. :incazzato: Oh and the great thing is NO engine light and code to diagnosis the problem.:confused5:
Cost 80-300 dollars and it takes about 2 hours to change it on a good day.
Guess what I am doing this weekend? :frown2:
