We like it Ok too, but don't really relish the idea of of a whole village full of it. Cluster butter....

I would agree that a village full of apple butter is just a bit too much. Lol.

I'd like to apologise to anyone who came looking for a drive today. Last night was a bad one for me & this morning I was wiped out. Should have stayed in bed.

Meg just wanted to be the new Cooper so we told her his car got a ride on a flatbed once. I have added this site to my favorites and removed NAM, so my transition has been made!!

Oh carp! I hope it's not serious. Maybe only a Wally World bag melted on the exhaust pipe.
Fingers crossed for you Meg. -

It smelled like melting plastic to me, but others said they saw white smoke every time she shifted.

MINI breakfast 10-16-2010 - crashton's Photos -
LOL guess i should have posted earlier
The baby got to MAG just fine...had no problems with their service dept (except some guy popped over and said "sorry about your car!" only to realize later that i think it was the sales guy who mocked me when i called to check in with them before i mought my car and therefore did not buy my car there...anyways...)
They (Doug) called me later in the day to let me know that they also believe it's the clutch (part defect, not the way i drive) but didn't want to drop the transmission until they had the part on hand. So, now the part is ordered and they think it'll be back in my hands sometime around wednesday. I'm hoping that they'll wash some of the bugs off
If i think about it i'll post a few pics this evening...in the mean time i'll be crusing around in my BMW sedan getting looks from people as they expect it to not be me in the driver's seat
Babs and Chuck...maybe it's a good thing we didn't go on a drive...i'd hate to have had to tow it from too far away...would have been a long trip. I didn't know it could take so long to get around 270 LOL. -

Babs & I said the very same thing, glad you weren't on road trip when it went fubar.
Glad to hear you got your baby in the shop. IMO MAG does a good job & will get you back on the road soon. Sorry they made you take a BMW. The first time they tried to give me one I told them, no thanks I'll take a MINI please. Let us know how it turns out. -
Hopefully you will be back in the MINI soon. I wonder if the same person who flipped your grill badge, flipped your clutch?

Watch it Brian!!!
Glad to hear MAG is taking good care of your car. When you get your stubby remember to tell them to remove it before sending it through their washer. They forgot with mine once and had to replace the part it screws into on the roof. I usually just take mine off and put it in the cup holder when I drop the car off -

You put your roof in the cupholder. Now that I gotta see.

I have missed this lively banter on the site with the bed bugs. Now to fix my signature.

I do not know if we should aspire to Stage 1 or not, sounds like a 12 step plan to me. Chxmini is only Stage 2 so maybe it is only a 2 step plan
-
I need a 3 stage forward, one step back stage. I can even find where to fix my signature.
