    Restraint! :cornut:

It started out as avoidance of the winter road chemicals and from there it became a garage pampered, low mileage stress relief on weekends...oh and it has never lost that new car smell. :biggrin5:

Congrats on your low mileage restraint. I don't have the willpower for that & my car usually has odd odors in the interior.

    Love your signature!

I just checked I put 20k a year on my MINI the first 4 years I owned it. I moved in Oct 2006 and have only put 28k on it since.

My MINI is 12 years old this month.

Bumping because I figure we ought to have more 10 year olds by now. Anyone?

13 years for me since the June build date (delivery mid-August). Had some steering related problems this year but still going strong.

My 2004 R50 is 11 and a half with 138K miles (Build date 11/03). Just did a new clutch and replaced the belt and tensioner to ward off evil spirits (they didn't really need in dire need of a change but...)

My MINI just turned 14 this month too.

And it is still doing great: http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/mini-stuff/27957-my-mini-champ.html

I put more miles on it in the first 2 weeks of this month than I put on it over all of the past 12 months.

My goal is to keep my R58 JCW until I croak whether that is this week or fifteen years from now.

However if it is fifteen years down the road I probably won't have to worry about driving because

I won't even know what day of the week it is!

We bought a low-mileage '06 MCS a year ago that we love. It now has about 48K miles and we're looking forward to many more.
