My '03 [09/02 build] R50 has a CVT that's getting replaced right now. It only has 62k and I plan to drive it like I stole it when I get it back. MY '06 MCSa has 116k and I drive it all the time; my wife's '06 MCSa is pushing 62k. We plan to keep them all for a long time yet.![]()

It is with very mixed emotions that I've come to the decision to sell my R53. I will be posting the sale separately, but this seems a fitting place to make mention of it.
If anyone may be interested, please send me a message. -

10 year old Mini
I have an 06 R53, still going strong -
'05 JCW with 171,035 miles. I've had it a couple of years and very much enjoy it. It's been out of commission for a couple of months with a broken clutch. I've got the Valeo clutch, but haven't had a chance to put it in yet.

Double the Fun
I have a pair of black '05 R53s built less than two weeks apart from each other. One still running strong with 329,000 miles, the other just breaking in with 129,000 miles. My daughter's 2010 Clubman is just a baby. -
My R52 turns 10 this month. 175,000 miles on it and I'm doing 5 stops on MTTS. Still love driving it.

Stirling turned 11 last month, bought new 6/4/2005, currently at 92k miles, at least half of which are to, from or at various Mini events (Dragon, Mountains, On Top, Ice Cream Runs, Ozarks, Mack, MSSD etc - even a couple of Mini Meets). Very likely going to change him from daily driver to events/stunning days only and get another MINI as my DD. Anyone know of any low mileage gen 2 Clubman available?
Edit - See my new sig, got the clubman last Friday. -
10 Year Mini
My '06 R50 was new in July '06. Jackie Cooper Mini in Edmond, Ok is the delivery/servicing dealer who does all servicing and maintenance work. Very few problems, except for the "normal" ones; Battery, Passenger side engine mount, and Fuel Pump, all under warranty. Power steering return line and a Battery (Autozone) and Brakes out of warranty, as well as, minor items; tires, wiper blades, filters, etc. Just turned 68,000 miles. Runs better than new. I run it up to redline at least once a week and occasionally to the rev limiter. -

Bought my '05 R53 last year w/ 97K on odometer but blown engine as 2nd owner. Production date of 10/04. Replaced engine w/ '05 and 45K on the clock. Was never fond of Mini until last year when I needed a small commute car, now I love my Mini!!!
