Our local paper has a section providing news from 100 years ago around the town. With all our talk about the complexity and high cost of repairs to our cars, I thought this one article was cool. A two seater, Chalmer-Detroit was involved in a head on collision with a Cadillac. The axle on the Cadillac was found to be bent, so It was removed and straightened by the local blacksmith. Jim
