Having been to all the MOTDs and watching them grow from 63 people at the 1st one to almost a thousand for this one, all I can say is...the more the merrier. Yes, there will be a record crowd this year, and yes it will be congested. Parking will be a challenge to say the least. However, I don't see the crowds as a reason to stay away. View it as a challenge rather than a roadblock. Go with the flow or against it. Watch. Learn. Explore. Ask questions. Make friends. Have fun. Above all, don't cross the yellow lines!
So!!!! Run Hellbender every morning, then stuff yourself and relax. :donut1: Now that sounds like a plan. Nate, what day you want to play in the dirt? :eek6: Don
my early routine...wakeup....drive the Hellbender....breakfast sandwiches at Deal's Gap Resort and back to the Village!
A lot of the activities at the Lodge start around 1800 (6:00), so folks need to get back, clean up and head to the event. The locals are also headed home, so you can bet on a clear run on the Dragon "early evening". Jim
I'm thinking the whole rage of 900-999 is in trouble mine included... On the bright side this is gonna be one awesome MOTD, can't wait!
Seeing as how NOT ALL those people are going to show up, I think the prize for this should be awarded, based on the actual count from registration at the end. Jim
This is definatly going to be an amazing year. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again. Just one one more part to buy and the MC40 is ready. (Well 4 actually), Tires! Just as above have posted, even though there will be alot of people, there is so much to do and so much room it will be hard to meet everyone.
In a typical year, how many MINIs crash the party (i.e., show up and mingle in an unregistered status)?
