All cars have gotten better over time & I'm sure Fiat has too. Now that they are in bed with Chrysler things can only go down hill for them. What were they thinking??? :eek:ut:

Seriously! FIAT is going to fix Chrysler? Diamler Benz saw the ship couldn't be righted so they bailed out. Do you really think DB would have sold Chrysler if they thought it was a viable long term product? No. And FIAT is coming to their rescue? Hardly. Most Chrysler products that come into my shop with 50K + miles are worn out. You can just feel it. From sloppy transmissions, to vague steering to overall interior quality. Don't even get me started on parts availability. How about waiting 10 months for a 1996 Dodge Dually front trim ring? And, it's $292! Fiat will have no more luck producing a good product for themselves than they will saving Chrysler. Shame too, some of the Chrysler vehicles look nice.

As for the president Fiat Lancia Unlimited car club and his 75 reason not to buy a MINI, well, he can just go FLUCC himself!

I saw one over the weekend at the Lane Motor Museum- Nashville, TN

It was a right hand drive import. About the same size as a MINI, but chunkier. I did however just glance at it, as it did not stir any interest.

You get what you pay for. Cheap cars are cheap.
Oh, and copying MINI's cool accessories, a sign of how cheap you are.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, even if it's ugly, half-assed imitation :D
