The good thing about having it at am established site is that people know where it is just like our breakfast spot.

 

I won't make this one.....I'll be in Canada (Old Quebec and I hope they have the restaurants restocked with food after Chuck cleaned them out!)

 

Where (assuming that we want to stay up in the Polaris area and are thinking of places that have their own parking lot):

Red Robin
Mellow Mushroom (pizza/subs)
Bel Lago (not quite Polaris and a little more $$)
El Vaquero

When
6:30 or 7:00

 

We can also go to QSL and have them reserve a spot for us in the parking lot. In fact, this could become a regular event for them and we could increase attendance if we use their place.

 

....I wish you'd get off the fence and tell us how you really feel about the food:biggrin5: We need to find someplace where we can eat inside during cold weather while being able to keep tabs on our cars and be able to sit outside when the weather is warm.

 

Heck we could park ourselves at a Panera. There is a parking lot & room for a bunch of us. The food ain't too bad. Just throwing a curve ball at ya.

 

I am prolly the only person on earth who does not like Panera...bam nother curve ball...

 

How about this for a curve ball.....we rotate locations each month. Somebody volunteers at breakfast to find a location for the next dinner. Keep the start time at 7:00 pm (which would hopefully allow people enough time to get there from work).

 

And there is a person in the group who does not know how to read a map or operate their smart phone/GPS???

I vote we rotate and start at a Roosters, I love their wings!!

 

Allen, I'm talking about the folks that show up based upon word of mouth. MoM hasn't grown based upon who can read a map or operate their smart phones. BTW the service at Roosters sucks, I'll miss that one.

 

What about Wholly Joe's? Pizza, Chili dogs, other stuff (I think) The few times I've been there I've seen some old (and sweet looking) street rods.

 

From now until spring, I consider these get togethers to be less about cars and more about dinner with friends. It is too dark to kick tires and unless we have a dedicated room or a big table, it can be hard to socialize with everyone.

 

Agreed. I'd be open to rotating, and if ya don't like
the food, eat before/after and enjoy the company. You might like the food at the next outing.

I look forward to these meetings, as new as I am, I really enjoy the company.

Mark I think we need Yin and Yang markers on our cars so people understand that while we have never agreed on anything we still like eachother

Poor service is just the world's way of telling you to make better conversation with those around you. Says the guy who complains till he is blue in the face any time Cracker Barrel is suggested for anything other than an arson target.

 

My wife says we don't agree on anything and we've been married for 28 years (no.....I'm not marrying you)
