Would the front bumper on the '04 MCS fit an '06 MCS?

Then, I might be interested in getting the front bumper of the Pepper White '04 MCS, if "dporschey" wanted to sell it.

Being they have not been on the site since 06-10-2013 03:37 PM I would PM my interest as it will generate an email to them.

I have my old front bumper. Shipping costs would suck, but you could make me an offer for it.

My wife's MCS has the aero kit. A former owner and she have pretty much rendered it wobbly, and MINI of Dublin, OH [aka MAG], has screwed it onto the frame to keep it from flopping about. So, I'm kind of in the market for a new [or preferably used and in good shape] front bumper, but I do NOT want the aero one, as I just KNOW my wife will run the front end onto those cement parking blocks, again and again. At least the rubber dam under the regular MCS bumper will keep the bumper safe...right?

Not much (if any) difference between the two as to ground clearance.
Mine is an EB stock bumper in ok condition. No damage, just the regular rock chips. -
wmwny Well-Known MemberTrue enough about the ground clearance, but that aero bumper does not flex when it hits one of those parking curbs. Instead, it cracks and eventually ends up breaking the whole danged thing. That rubber dam on my MCS at least flexes some to warn me of having gotten too close. The aero bumper just crunches.
MINI wants almost $1700 for a new aero bumper. I suppose a new MCS bumper is similar in price, but, dayummmmmmmm. Decisions...decisions...get a new one, a used one or just let my wife demolish the one on the car and then do a replacement at a later time? GAAAAAAAAAA...! :mad2: -

Interesting, and something to consider when all other options are gone. Thanks!

It may be easier to teach wife how to park or at least put curb feelers on. :aureola::lol::lol::lol:
Thank god my wife can not drive stick so she can not drive my car.
