Looks like Rally covered the "Audi logo on a Mini" and "5 lugs are for wimps" groups while he was at it. :eek6:

No, I could only get membership to the "Audi Logos on Audi wheels" and "4 lugs for temporary test fit photos" groups, sadly:(

Got it raised, still looks great and feels like a limo [in comparison] when hitting the ever increasing bumps thanks to no money in the state coffers.

I will keep the 3/4" AND the disks in my spine... :D

Rally, that is awesome. I'm a function guy but I can really appreciate the work and skill you put into that.

Any pics of the dampers? Is it a height adjustable coilover or fixed perch? Are you using a linear coilover spring? Top secret? ;)

    Good job. :)

I appreciate it. I'm a big fan of your suspension posts as well:Thumbsup:

I'll have to grab some pictures. No "springs" as my car is on airbags :wink5: Perch position is fixed as it also serves to seal the bag to the strut. Specs came out just a *little* off so I needed some small spacers to clear the lower perch. That's what I get for running high offset wheels again  My upper mounts are pillowballs that I designed and had machined. They cut down the stack height a great deal. Gonna have to work on the plates to add some camber in this weekend.

You could do some top mount camber plates if you want to give yourself a headache.

OR do something like my company did for Subaru:

The opening isn't big enough on the Mini to get much camber out of it though.

    Lowering aircooleds is easy :prrr:

I'm getting there. Next step will be metal work as the tires are about to hit the body near the strut towers.

    Two questions.....
How many cinder blocks in the MINI to get that drop?:D
Why aren't you driving more? I see rust on them rotors.

    Nice MINI:Thumbsup:

    Just my fat butt. :D

I just washed/dried it. I work at home, so I don't have/get to drive it every day.

Thanks! I love it. Took it up to the Scottish Festival in Blairsville, GA yesterday with about 35 other MINI's and showed it off.

    Fun stuff!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are not anywhere close to as low as what Rally is...

And I am glad. I like being able to run on public roads, get in my driveway, and not scrape gum off the street with my bumper...

Oh, and my spine still likes me, too.

    :D

And I am not sure where you are getting that 3.125" from, either. My air dam scraped EVERYTHING at 23.25". How do you even drive it at 20.875"? I am also curious how you get a jack under it...

I run on public roads and enter my driveway all the time. I consider the gum scraping my public service
