I’m putting my R53 up for sale. I live in Memphis so I am pretty sure none of you live close enough to be interested but just Incase I decided to post it here. It’s not pristine but it’s not bad ether. It has an airbag light on due to the front left airbag, the one on the A pillar. The check engine light is on due to the cat being gutted. I may put a new cat on it. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles.

mods; 17% pulley, cold air intake, ATI crank pulley, Kone yellows, Eibach springs, braided brake lines, adjustable rear control arms, adjustable camber plats.

    Asking $3000.

Hell, it's hardly broken in yet, but you've spent a lot of time in those seats! :Devilish: :Cigar:

Are you coming to MOTD this year?

No work killed the Dragon for me. I work every day but Thursday. So no Dragon for me! The cigar night at the Dragon I will start a fire in the fire pit and light one of those fine cigars you sent me. Really hate I am missing it

Good luck with the sale but you're gonna miss it when it's gone.

Damn Lee, no MOTD and selling the R53. WTF.

It’s a shame I don’t need a parts car or a beater or I would grab yours up since I know you have taken great care of it over the years. I see you still have my old 3-spike wheel on it.

That three spoked wheel is much nicer than the two spoke. I hate to get rid of it but something has to go. I would love to keep it and do a a cool build but I have too many projects. Maybe a Gen1 GP or a Gen1 JCW with an aero kit and sun roof some time in the future. But for the near future it will be driving an old Sequoia till I find a pickup.
I plan on getting the Helmet dynode soon and then latter I will add meth. I just couldn't justify two MINIs.

Do you still have the car for sale? I'm interested, if I fly down are you confident in a ~600 mile drive?

I know Lee and he takes great care of his cars. I am sure his R53 would make a short 600 mile drive.

It’s still available. I believe it will make it 600 miles, not sure why it wouldn’t. I will send you a conversation with my number. Later today I will also send you more pictures. I would like the car to go to someone that wants to take care of it.

With 4 kids and trying to maintain all the cars my self its getting a bit hard to handle. Plus we are starting to fix up the house. If a few things were different I would find a way to justify two Minis:D

This would be my third, of course I have two 18 year olds who have shared one through High School and now that they are going two different directions for college we need another car.

She had an RX8, but she never really loved that car like the Mini, so it has been sold and the search for another MCS is on. This will definitely be MY car that I will allow her to borrow. She is going to a school about an hour away, so she will be home on weekends when I can get my hands on it. I think it will be fun for us to discuss fixes and upgrades through the week and then apply that over the weekend or holidays.

You'll be getting a great car. Lee really cares for his vehicles!
