All of the BPV's are the same no mater what year. MINI never fixed the valve. they changed the tune of the car to see different vacuum at an PRM, BUT it didn't work on all cars. I always think the DT BPV is better than the OEM, but it's not for everyone, but we sell and lot and never get any returns and you barley see them for sale used. So i would say people are happy with the item.

I am going to say this just once.
DO NOT BUY Bytetronik full access self tuning or you will F up or blow up your motor.
Just ask a guy named Rick on here who's user id is the ModFather.
Jan sells brand new (not redrilled) 440, 550 injectors. Note * Some of those Mynes / Bytronic 550's are redrills.-

Get some JCW injectors along with what Dave mentioned and you will be very close to 195-200. I was with the stock tune and a 15% pulley and a CAI and one-ball.

I would think the 05-06 should fit the 03, then again BMW/MINI does not do anything logically.-

Welcome to M\A.
What year is your MCS?
You may want to remove the 17% pulley for 15% because with an original Eaton Supercharge with 96k on the clock you may cook it buy spinning it that fast.
I would also recommed a leak down and pressure test on you "new to you" motor so you can be sure you don't have any hidden problems in the motor.
I would also recommend a idle pulley, new belt tensioner and OEM sized ATI crank damper.
All of their should be done before you get a custom tune on a DYNO and not a flash tune.
Also check your motor mounts and lower control arm bushings. A header won't hurt but buy a quality one.-

Thank you everyone! Love that someone bothers to answer and give me good advises.
I live in Norway so a custom tune on dyno at RMW isn't possible Im afraid.
But there is a local guy here that can make me a remap wich should add up to the injectors and mods, he says.
Do the 440cc fit the OEM manifold and fuelrail?
Are they redrilled or OEM 440cc injectors?

JCW 380 injectors are good to over 200hp. And you can get the 440's as brand new injectors from several vendors.

Yes 440's 550's and 1000's will fit the stock fuel rail but the need to be scaled correctly with a custom tune.
Oh if you have access to a Dyno Jan can do a remote tune via the internet and a Flash tool so you can upload the tune and keep your stock and custom tune.
All you would need to do is buy a flash tool, do a base line pull on your car and send him the file. Jan adjusts your tune and sends you back a file for you to upload / flash to your car.
Then you do another pull on the Dyno and send the results back to him. After a few times your cars ECU and larger injectors will all be optimized and you can have a copy of your tune incase you ever need to flash it back to OEM for service or your dealer flashes over it.
If you send Jan an e-mail he can provide you with all the information and prices.-

Ok. I saw this to late, and ordered the OEM BPV and the throttle body gasket from my local BMW dealership, it was the same part on the 2006 R53, so I tought it was an updated version. Doesn't the OEM BPV close all the way? Is it possible to adjust it if it doesn't?
The OEM one is alot cheaper for me who lives in Norway too.
This forum is fantastic!good info from everyone
