Have you called the Rover guys in Canal Winchester? If I was spending the money I'd have Anson do it. MINI's, so much fun, but that fun ain't cheap.

I do understand. Maybe someone in Nick's farce-book club would know of a place.

101k on an '05 S isn't bad, but I guess it depends on how hard it's driven and how many clutches this makes for replacement.

$2500 to have someone install a clutch is still cheaper than a new car and you like the car.

Message me if you willing to come up to Canton OH, I can do it for reasonable price.

I would do a compression and leak-down test, and look at any other maintenance records available before making a decision. The only way to make the clutch job worthwhile is to 'drive' the cost out. Don't want to do the clutch if there are other problems looming.

Buy a case of beer and invite the Columbus area members over. We will get that new clutch in there

I have a Kerosene heater it just takes the chill off. to do a clutch I really like to have the garage open to give me more room. Too cold for that.

I won’t ban you from my place either, but we might need to park all the really low cars at the church and pile in the back of the truck for my BBQ... [emoji23]
