Welcome to M/A and congrats on an excellent R53 MINI.
For power mods you can add a pulley (15%) best HP mod for the money. After that you can add a cold air intake like DDM. Another great non power mod is a bigger adjustable anti-sway bar. After those few things enjoys the car for a while and get used to it before toss a ton of money into mods and come up with a long term plan.
For other higher $$$$ mods take a look at my car by clicking on the charge button the left.
WARNING modding a MINI and making power is more addicting than golf, donuts and crack.

:cornut: Nice R53 JCW. I agree with Dave.O but then most people around here feel that that's a definite character flaw along with owning an R56.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I too have an 05 JCW. The smaller pulley will only give you about 1 psi over the JCW pulley. When I got the car I got a K&N filter and flapperized the air box right away.
Then last May had Jan tune the car at the Dragon. This made a big difference. My next 2 power moves would be a GP intercooler and a header. But I need an LSD before I get more power. I keep spinning the inside tire coming out of turns in 2nd or 3rd gear.
So for this year it's suspension and breaks.
Nathan you may want to move this to 1st gen JCW-

Welcome to MA! I agree with what has been said. I have a 17% pulley. It's giving me about 15psi of boost. 15% is what most people go with its a safe chose. Do not go bigger then 17%.

Yup I only went with 15% pulley for safety since I was adding other BIGGER things to make much more power down the road. :ihih::devil:
It all depends on your goal and your personal plan ($$$) on how you are going to reach it. -

Since it is a JCW I would just stick with the stock 11% pulley.
When the crank pulley needs to be replaced you can add a ATI 2% pulley to get a little more supercharger psi.
I would instead suggest suspension changes such as larger rear sway bar and fixed front camber plates to start your mods.
