Beautiful car !! Good luck with your sale.

How long have you been the owner? How many previous owners?
-
I do not know how many previous owners. I have owned it for two summers, this would be winter number 3 if it sticks around hereabouts.
It was originally sent into Florida, then sold or the owner re-registered in California and then up to Washington for either another sale or owner move and re-registration, then off to me. -
Here's a few more pictures.

Sorry it's a great car but 67k does not equal $16,500 especially without a detailed history and complete maintenance records.
You may get 10 to 12k if your lucky. Good luck on your sale. -

I would want history for that money because just looking under the hood for 1 minute I see 3 mistakes. MSD coil, Alta parts, and the silly oil catch can mod.
I want to know if it was serviced correctly by real "qualified" mechanics.
16 k for no warranty and no history is doing to be a hard sale.
Not hating, it's a great REAL original GP, but if I was buying I would want a lot more info. -
I don't have a history prior to my owning this GP.
Since owning it, I have had all work performed at Detroit Tuned.
As I noted in the original post, I have had some work done to the car and I can provide the paperwork for that work.
It came with that stuff installed by the previous owner and yes, I did have plans on swapping those things out, like how I removed the not designed for an R53 "generic" front strut bar and added the strut tower defenders. -
car history: run a carfax - it'll tell you a lot about owners, where it was registered, how frequently it changed hands.
As a potential buyer (I am always looking for nice R53s), I have to agree with Dave - to get top dollar for an 11 year od car with 67k miles it has to be perfect. Used up GPs with flaws and higher miles sell at a little above JCW level, and you have to find an enthusiast who actually cares about the exclusivity.
Last year when I was shopping for a car I saw a MINT GP sell at a Chicago luxury car dealership that usually sells Lamborghinis and McLarens: with less than 20k miles it sold for less than $14k - I was too late, otherwise I'd own that car right now. I ended up buying a regular R53 from Florida, one owner, dealer maintained, every record and receipt of everything in its life, garage kept, 29k miles, never been north of Orlando for $8500, and I think I paid 500 too much.
