With a little less than four hours to go the bidding is at $20,000. There seems to be one bidder now that is very serious.

That’s a good question about the seller. As far as the money someone could have been lamenting all these years that they didn’t buy that 06 R53 and now a brand new one appears and costs no more than one the one from fifteen years ago. Good for them and it’s entertaining for the rest of us.

I agree. I wonder if’n the events of last year are the primary cause of this or if this just the normal ups downs that older collectible are go through.

So I wonder how much the GP with 90K will go for.

Yes it's fun to watch & play with other's money. My take is that Mister genevamotorcars must be dancing a jig with that price. Really a nice car, but IMO $7.500 over priced. I wonder how much the seller paid for that one. Buy low $ell high as they say.

I really don't think prices we are seeing on BAT really show the bubble regular car sales are in right now. Although BAT prices have been headed up too.

GP with 90K on the odo? Now that is how a MINI should be used. Driven fast & far, enjoyed to the fullest!

Spirited bidding and an added twelve minutes #413 went for $35,000.

When you think about it the late bidding on #413 was really crazy. The price increased by $9,000 in roughly a half hour.

Current bid on #1317 is $14,000 with a little over eighteen hours to go. Price seems low but as we have just seen two or more serious bidders can drive the price up very quickly. This one should be more interesting due to the fact it has a more realistic mileage than the last several first generation MINI’s that have been on BAT.

Wowzer !! # 1317 sold for a whopping $22,500. Once again late bidding and a lengthened bidding time allowed for a wild finish.

I was 2,500 low on the high mile GP estimate. Inflation must be real.

I hadn’t realized you could tap on the persons name and their history on BAT would come up. You’re spot on that he appears to be very well funded.

If he had REAL money he'd have bought Steve McQueen's XKSS. :D

The nice thing about this car is that it’s most likely going to be bought and driven, not put away and never truly enjoyed.
