I can't decide what to do with the exterior.
The paint is really dull. Not faded, but just... Flat.
I either cut and polish it....
Or wrap it in flat white....

18's were a factory option.

Yes but that does not mean they are any good and runflats are known as run rocks for a reason.
Smaller rims with real, non run rock tires will ride much better. -

I'm not getting it. Why do you want to keep doing all these weird things to such a rare car? :nonod:
-
Anything I put on, can come off without a hassle. I bought it to enjoy and drive. The fact that it turned out to be a CE.... Was just a fluke. Like everyone says, it's just a sticker on the tach... Right?

I have a black '05 JCW. So I vote polish out the paint. It looks so good when it's clean.

18's and a wrap are weird..? -
You realize, the difference between the 18's and 17's is less than half an inch of rubber...
The wrap was simply for a colour change. Not a big fan of the blue-black.
There's also only about a pound difference between the 17's and 18's. -

You will get the hang of it soon, just stick around and join in, it's all in FUN.
FYI ~ If I did not have the best color already (Chili Red) I would have a Liquid Silver MINI. :ihih::lol::lol::devil::crazy: -
Oh and btw. Pepper white with hot chocolate interior is the most beautiful thing.
I tried to buy an 09 jcw clubman, in Chicago before I found this. They wanted too much. -

As for 18's on your MINI we are all just trying to save you some money and a very harsh ride that all.
That's one inch makes a huge difference. Wait that just sound like a "that's what she said" joke. -

Thanks its always nice to know that even the new people are paying attention!
I cant wait to just be able to drive it again!
In all seriousness though, you can do whatever you want to your car in my opinion. You've seen how far outside the box of normal I have taken mine and it is a reflection of me!
The trick is to mod to YOU, dont give 2 F-56's what others think or say, and dont go around adding this and that just because its the "Thing" in your area.
As we get to know you, I am sure everybody here will stand behind whatever you do.
Love the TJ BTW!
I just got rid of my JKU a couple months ago for the Countryman. If the 3.8 wasn't about to self destruct I would still have it.
